The Kate Moss has had a whirlwind few days in the city, launching the new store on New York Broadway and her latest collection.
She and Sir Philip were showered in confetti at the grand opening of the store. The two, who are great friends as well as business associates, held hands and whispered to each other as they posed for the cameras.

Moss looked luscious in a flowing green dress, but did look a little like she was supporting an elderly uncle on a day out.

Sir Philip has been something of a benefactor to Moss, employing her to design and promote nine collections for Topshop, so there was only ever one person on his shortlist to open his first New York store.

The Big Apple branch has 200 workers, 32 changing rooms, a DJ booth and a shoe lounge, but has opened six months late after a series of problems, including construction delays and even flooding.

Speaking at the launch, Sir Philip said: ‘I think we have something to bring to the market place in terms of great products.

'We are going to be very fashion-led here. We hang a $500 dress 30ft away from two-for-$18 T-shirts. It's different.

Some key pieces are feminine Liberty floral-print dresses, a deep-V black chiffon cocktail dress and 3/4-sleeve suede jackets. Kate’s collection features a £250 diamante evening dress.
