French haute couture fashion designer and 'enfant terrible' Jean-Paul Gaultier received an award for his contribution to fashion, art and culture during an event organised in Athens on Saturday by the French Institute of Athens and the French Embassy.

A shining, silver paillette-encrusted trenchcoat sparkling on the runway as metallic confetti rained down: This is the memory London fashion week will have of its 25th anniversary—and the Burberry show that ended it. There was more young glamour per foot here than the city's ever witnessed in a front row. Emma Watson was present, and so were Gwyneth Paltrow, Mary-Kate Olsen, Victoria Beckham, and Daisy Lowe, Freida Pinto and Dev Patel were holding hands.

The Kate Moss has had a whirlwind few days in the city, launching the new store on New York Broadway and her latest collection.
She and Sir Philip were showered in confetti at the grand opening of the store. The two, who are great friends as well as business associates, held hands and whispered to each other as they posed for the cameras.

Australian designers have become known for their unique style and somewhat irreverant approach to fashion. And during Rosemount Australian Fashion Week, designers stayed true to their reputation. Designers presented their Spring/Summer 2009/2010 collections during the April 27-May 1 run of events. And there were plenty of decidedly chic looks for the new season.
